A darkness rises,

Barking

Silently

From the shadows,

So hard to hear,

So hard to see,

Yet deeply felt.

 

Hear it and see it

I must,

So,

I step into the shadows,

The cold silence,

For here

Lies everything.

 

Here a calmness resides,

A knowing,

And with love,

A warmness can rise,

A light can be seen,

A new dawn

Can be embraced.
