I smile,
You awake,
Emerge,
From that hidden place,
Always there,
In the cave
Of my heart.

So many secret places,
Lie there,
Deep within,
Kept cool,
Safe,
Safe from the glare,
Of life.

From there,
You emerge,
Into the daylight,
I see you,

It sets us both,
