    A small drop,
    That’s all there was,
    Until,
    Behold,
    A vast ocean.

    From nothing,
    Comes all things,
    To nothing,
    They
    Shall return.

    It is neither
    The beginning,
    The middle,
    The end,
    We have already arrived.

  • Mystery Journey

    A short walk,
    Sets you
    On your way,
    On a journey,
    To where,
    Who can say?

    I may think
    I know,
    Yet,
    When I arrive,
    It is always
    A surprise.

  • Emerging

    I smile,
    You awake,
    Emerge,
    From that hidden place,
    Always there,
    In the cave
    Of my heart.

    So many secret places,
    Lie there,
    Deep within,
    Kept cool,
    Safe,
    Safe from the glare,
    Of life.

    From there,
    You emerge,
    Into the daylight,
    I see you,
    You see me,
    It sets us both,
    Free.

  • Awake

    Sleep now,
    Waft away the debris,
    The rising irks,
    The worries,
    The mind’s groaning churn.

    Then awake.

    Awake to a newness,
    A freshness,
    A seeing,
    Seeing it,
    As it is.

    Live this,
    Know this,
    Change nothing;
    It is freedom.

  • My Friend

    Wave to yourself,
    Say hi,
    Welcome
    With a warm embrace.

    I look in the mirror,
    Who do I see,
    Friend
    Or foe?

    Ask this,
    For I must know,
    I am my friend,
    Loving and true.

    Through
    Thick and thin,
    I will stand by me,
    Truthful and loyal.

    So,
    To myself I say,
    Hello friend,
    I am here to stay.

  • Life’s Path

    I bow down,
    To say,
    Here I am,
    Here to stay.

    With my life,
    Held in my hand,
    I walk a path,
    I often,
    Don’t understand.

  • Darkness Fades

    The darkness,
    Will fade to light.

    In the light
    I will see.

    In the light,
    I will find my way.

    Let the darkness fade.

  • Awakening

    Awake now,
    Rise from the darkness,
    The shadows
    Are but cast
    From your light.

    Your brightness
    Cannot be dimmed,
    It burns with a force
    Beyond mortal mind.

    Awake now,
    Your realm awaits,
    It is time,
    To take your rightful place.

  • Rest Now, Be Free

    I walk now,
    Away and toward,
    From you,
    To you anew.

    With you,
    I leave it all,
    With me,
    I take my power.

    You live within me,
    Yet are not me,
    I honour you,
    But I am not you.

    With love,
    I leave you now,
    Where you
    Need to be.

    With love,
    I lead me now,
    To flourish,
    To be me.

    Dear father,
    Be free.

  • Life Afresh

    They all left me then,
    When he left,
    They left,
    And…, 
    They came.

    The frightened birds,
    The lost children,
    The stricken mother,
    We clung together.

    Lost on the frozen sea,
    We clung together,
    Never speaking,
    Searching the horizon.

    They came also,
    The demons,
    The quiet voices
    Whispering in my ear.

    You are not safe,
    They said,
    Trust nothing,
    Trust nobody.

    Still we sailed,
    All pretending,
    All striving
    To stay afloat.

    Then he left too,
    Over the side he went,
    No longer able,
    Into the cold dark sea.

    To the lifeboats
    Now we went,
    Not seeing,
    We were each alone.

    Together 
    Yet alone,
    Alone,
    With our demons.

    And
    A vast ocean
    Have I crossed,
    My demons and I.

    Still here I am,
    And now,
    I see land,
    The shore beckons.

    There,
    I will leave this boat,
    That is no longer life,
    With its ghosts and demons.

    There,
    On this new shore,
    I will raise my eyes
    To the heavens.

    I will say goodbye,
    My anger and pain,
    Plain to see,
    On the wet sand.

    I will embrace love again,
    There I will live again,
    Love, life,
    Afresh and anew.

  • Sun And Clouds

    The clouds lift,
    The sun breaks through.

    In that light I see.

    See the allness of it all.

    One and the same,
    Flowing from mind
    To consciousness,
    The pain,
    The joy,
    The energy of being.

    Now,
    All feels well,
    And I know
    The clouds will come and go.

    Now,
    The sun shines.

  • One Step

    The mist comes down,
    The way obscured,
    A dullness prevails,
    Marring the day,
    Such is the way.

    One step,
    Brings you closer
    To the unseen,
    Until perhaps,
    A light emerges.

    Just one step,
    Followed gently by another,
    No more is needed;
    On such a day,
    It is the way.

  • Into The Light

    In the shadows they dwell,
    Shadows cast by light,
    Shade to protect
    From the strongest rays.

    In time
    They will emerge,
    Ready now
    For bright truth.

    For now,
    Let them be,
    Let them awaken
    When dawn arises.

    In the shadows they dwell,
    Yet to the light they are drawn,
    In time,
    Into the light they will walk.

  • The King

    The king sits
    Quietly contemplating
    All before him.

    The land
    The people
    The shadowy demons.

    Love fills his heart,
    Wisdom,
    Fortitude.

    His is a solemn duty,
    He  is the keeper of stories,
    The guardian of truth.

    He will lead them,
    Listen to them,
    Show them the way.

  • Warrior Rising

    Walking through the sky,
    The landscape
    Seems forever wide,
    Horizons stretching,
    In all directions,
    Far, far away.

    Here,
    Up in the heavens,
    All is seen,
    Smiles
    And teardrops,
    Adorning the world.

    To the earth I go now,
    Compassion in my heart,
    Fire in my soul,
    I walk here,
    A warrior
    Renewed.
