New Path

War,

Mayhem,

Distrust,

The rule of fear.

How long,

The failed way?

How long,

The dark path?

For,

It fails,

Time

And

Time,

Again.

Time to stop.

Time to walk a new path.

Honesty,

Truth,

The speaking of fear,

Vulnerability shared.

Here lies hope,

Here lies growth,

Here lies a future,

A future for us all.
