A star falls from the sky,

A magical streak

Of light

From

The heavens above

Come to earth.

 

It tells a story

Of far off worlds

We shall never know,

Of places beyond our ken,

Yet perhaps,

From whence we all came.

 

A messenger,

A reminder.

 

We were born of stars,

To the stars we shall return.
