Trees fall,

New saplings rise,

Small and innocent,

To become mighty towers,

Resplendent,

In their

Strength and beauty.

We wake and sleep,

Laugh, love,

Then pass on our way,

Leaving

The ripple that was us,

Floating

In the ether.

All things are eternal,

A rise and fall of form,

Forever reborn,

A manifestation of life,

Leaving its mark

In the earth,

In our hearts.
